Indian diplomacy is now on front foot

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan would succeed Dr Hiroki Nakatani of Japan, currently the Chairman of the 34-member WHO Executive Board.
The proposal to appoint India's nominee to the executive board was signed by the 194-nation World Health Assembly on 9th May 2020, Tuesday, officials said on condition of anonymity.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan will elected to be executive board for three - year - term which being from May.
Official, says he will take charge by 22 may.
The main work of the executive Board are to give effect to the decision and policies to advise it and generally to facilitate it's work.
India is set to take over the chairmanship of the Executive Board amid growing calls, including by US President Donald Trump, to investigate how the coronavirus originated in China''s Wuhan city and subsequent action by Beijing. 😂🤣
